Making Headway
I haven't written in a while because there hasn't been significant headway until now. The last photos were of the hole, and that wasn't too inspiring. But today the foundation was poured--and that's a big day for me! But first, look what they were cutting into. My basement should be good for (the next owner to put in) a wine cellar. The various stages of prep work. I've never inserted a video--but here we go! And in case it doesn't work--here are the stills. And 13 cement trucks later, here's the finished product. I never thought cement could look so beautiful! It's smooth and sleek--aside from a couple paw prints!
